'How much?' and 'Do you ship to...?' are buying signals, asked in public.

Spot the intent

Sort comments into three groups: questions about buying, compliments, and everything else. Buying questions get answered first, every time.

Reply in public, continue in private

Give a short public answer so others see you respond, then move details to DMs. In Sprout Social's Q4 2025 Pulse (vendor data), 51% of people who contact a brand publicly expected a public acknowledgement before being moved to DMs. Keyword flows can send the first DM automatically when someone comments a word like PRICE or LINK.

Make the next step obvious

End every DM with one clear action: a booking link, a product page or a question that moves things forward.

Track what converts

Tag conversations that become sales. After a month you will know which posts and which replies bring customers, not just likes.
