Scheduling & publishing

When a post fails to publish

Automatic retries, failure notifications and how to retry by hand.

Oct 11, 20261 min read

If a platform rejects or times out on a post, AeroReply retries it automatically, up to 5 attempts with growing gaps between them. Errors that can't succeed on retry, such as a disconnected account, aren't retried.

How you'll know

The person who created the post gets a notification naming the platforms it failed on. Each platform is published separately, so a failure on one never holds up the others.

Retry it

0 of 0 done
  1. Open Planner and click the failed post
  2. Fix the cause if there is one, for example reconnect the account
  3. Click Retry failed

If the failure came from preparing an image, open the post and save it again to retry.
