Impressions are the total number of times a post was displayed. One person scrolling past the same post three times creates three impressions.
Why it matters
Impressions show how often your content was on screen, which matters for frequency-driven goals like brand recall. On their own they can flatter a post, so read them together with reach.
Reading impressions well
Divide impressions by reach to get average frequency. A frequency close to 1 means most people saw the post once. A frequency well above 1 means the platform kept showing it to the same audience, often a sign that a small group engaged heavily.
How AeroReply helps
AeroReply reports impressions and reach per post and per channel, so frequency is one glance away. See analytics →
