Webhooks

Webhooks quickstart

Receive a signed HTTP request the moment something happens in your workspace.

Oct 11, 20261 min read

Webhooks send events from AeroReply to a URL you choose, as they happen. Use them to update a CRM, alert a channel or start an automation.

Create an endpoint

0 of 0 done
  1. Open Settings, then Webhooks under Workspace
  2. Click New webhook and pick a destination: your own URL, a chat app or an automation tool
  3. Paste the HTTPS URL and choose the events to send
  4. Click Create endpoint, then copy the Signing secret
  5. Use Send test event from the endpoint menu to check everything works

What you receive

Each event is a POST with a JSON body. The test event is called webhook.test.

  "event": "post.published",
  "workspaceId": "cml0ws789",

  }

Respond fast

Return any 2xx status within 10 seconds. Do slow work after you respond, for example in a queue. Anything else counts as a failure and is retried.

Next, verify the signature so you know the request came from us.
